Integrative Massage Therapy
While Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT) is the heart and soul of our massage therapy practice, all of our staff are very proficient in more general integrative massage therapy.

When is Integrative Massage Therapy most appropriate?

This approach is best when the goal of your session is relaxation, renewal, and stress relief. There is both a long tradition of massage for this purpose and also an ever-deepening research literature on the benefits of massage for the stresses of life. Every therapist on the staff is proficient in this approach.

Individually Designed

If you notice, we have no menu of services to offer. Why? Menus are recipes. At BWA, we sit down with you before the session to discuss what your needs are for this particular session. It is not uncommon to have clients describe what they want to be addressed in a percentage formula such as, "Let's spend 50% of the time on my upper back and neck and the rest of the time on my lower legs and feet."

The session you receive should be the one that you design, not the one we predetermined. You also have the right to change your mind mid-session and redirect the therapist!

Feedback is Crucial

All this is to say that your feedback is vital to make the session exactly what you need. Don't hesitate to tell the therapist if they are slightly off the mark or if something in the environment isn't conducive to your experience.
Relax, Renew, Restore
Sessions are available for multiple lengths of time, from 30, 45, 60, and 90 minutes.

In a 30-minute session, we can focus just on your area of need. Choose the time frame that works best for you or ask our front desk for advice.
